Since October 2019, Love Your Planet mentors have worked with BCIT, mentoring and coaching students in software development programs towards building Love Your Planet's sites. Each term, our mentors have worked with 8 students across 2 teams. So far, over 32 students have developed Love Your Planet.

 

Through developing Love Your Planet's software,  the students gain real life skills and values for entering the workforce. In return, Love Your Planet benefits from student enthusiasm, growth, creativity and drive, and the instructor's structured guidance on documentation and deliverables.

 

Love Your Planet is proud to state that all our code base to date emerged from youth and student minds. It is a positive experience and an honor to be chosen by students for their project work.
